Managing Data by Hand

The most simple way to manage data is by hand. This technique is typically called progress monitoring in CBM. Progress of a student can be exhibited by charting scores during a specified time period. This method shows numerical growth, but not growth compared to others. To know if the student is growing compared to others, one must download Pocket CBM and sample at least fifteen students from the grade level at the school. These scores can then be used to ascertain the gap between the student performance and peers.
